Kentucky Bourbon Trail **NEW**

MOTORCOACH TOUR Featuring Bardstown, Louisville & Kentucky Bourbon

When we think of Kentucky, Bourbon and Thoroughbred Horses come to mind.  Bourbon production in Kentucky dates back to its pioneering days when the corn and grains grown in the region were converted into bourbon, and the bourbon business continues to boom in Kentucky today!  Join Daniel’s as we make our way along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail with Bourbon Tastings, Distillery Tours and Bourbon Shopping along our route. We get a great overview of bourbon history and the distilling process in downtown Louisville with a visit to the Frazier History Museum & Bourbon Trail Welcome Center.  From there we explore some of the downtown distilleries such as Evan Williams and Old Forrester – the only bourbon to be continually sold by the same company before, during & after prohibition.  Of course, there is more to Louisville than Bourbon, we will also visit the Louisville Slugger MuseumBardstown, Kentucky is known as the Bourbon Capital of the World and is home to more than 200 buildings on the National Historic Register. Visit My Old Kentucky Home State Park, where the centerpiece is the Federal Hill Mansion that inspired Stephen Foster to write the song “My Old Kentucky Home.” Heaven Hill Distilleries Bourbon Heritage Center teaches us about the importance of color, aroma, taste and finish.  Bardstown Distillery is a newcomer to the Bardstown Bourbon scene, we will learn about their innovative Collaborative Distilling Program.  Buffalo Trace Distillery has been making bourbon whiskey the same way for more than 200 years – we will visit what has come to be known as the most famous distillery in Kentucky and is the most award-winning distillery in the world!  A tour highlight is our visit to Hermitage Farms to learn about the agricultural heritage that gives the world distinctive Kentucky bourbon and champion thoroughbreds. Get a closer look at the inner workings of this operational Thoroughbred nursery and learn more about the equine industry.  We stay in One Hotel for all 4 nights of this tour – Drury Inn & Suites north of Louisville, with 4 Breakfasts, 2 Lunches, 2 Dinners, plus 2 Drury Kickback Dinners.  SMALL GROUP TOUR, Limited Reservations.
We will visit several Distilleries on this tour so you can learn about them and purchase their Bourbon.  At a minimum 2 Distillery Tours and 3 Bourbon Tastings are included, we will not tour all distilleries we visit.  You can also do Bourbon Tastings on your own during some of our distillery visits.  Must be 21 to join this tour.
