Florida Keys Explorer **NEW ITINERARY FOR 2023**

Featuring 4 Nights in the Keys...2 in Islamorada and 2 in Key West

NEW FOR 2023…Our Florida Keys Tour now features 4 NIGHTS IN THE KEYS! Join Daniel’s Guides Jerry and Vicki as we explore the string of beautiful tropical islands stretching about 120 miles off the southern tip of FL. For 2023, we are excited to add a 2-night stay in the Upper Keys at a beautiful waterfront Resort in Islamorada, and we think you will love it! You have an entire free day to enjoy the beach, rest and relax at a waterfront restaurant, take a relaxing boat ride or book a fishing trip from the Marina – Some consider Islamorada the Fishing Captial of the World! You will also love your 2-night stay in Key West at the Grand Key Double Tree Resort, including an Island style buffet full of Key West favorites such as Conch Fritters and Key Lime Pie of course! Our local Guide will tell us all about the playground of Poets, Pirates and Presidents on our private Key West guided tour on the Conch Train. You will get an unlimited hop on/hop off pass for the Key West Trolley so you can spend a full day touring Key West on your own and visiting the places that interest you the most.  You can choose to visit the Ernest Hemingway Home & Museum and see where Hemmingway wrote several of his famous novels and see the six-toed polydactyl cats, descendants of Hemingway’s original pet “Snowball”. Take a photo at the southernmost point monument, tour President Harry S. Truman’s Winter White House, or maybe visit Smather’s Beach during your Key West free time. Explore Key West from quaint and lively “Old Town” along Duval Street to Mallory Square and enjoy the many restaurants and shops. We will drive our coach along the famed overseas Highway – one of the most scenic drives in the U.S. – with fantastic views through the large windows of the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the Gulf of Mexico on the other. We visit Key Largo and the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park – Renowned for being the country’s first undersea park with vibrant sea life along its coral reef. A Glass Bottom Boat Tour offers a reef viewing experience to remember. We have 4 additional overnight stays in FL along the way, highlights include: a visit to an Alligator Farm, and an exciting airboat ride in the Everglades; a visit to Cape Kennedy Space Center where you can explore NASA’S Space Shuttle Program, learn about the space pioneers, and discover current and upcoming space exploration; a visit to the clear, warm springs of Blue Spring State Park, a designated manatee refuge along the St. John River; and, the oldest city in America, St. Augustine, with free time in the heart of the city in the historic district. Get away with us to the Florida Keys and experience the best of Florida on this fantastic tour! Includes 9 Meals (6 Breakfasts, 1 Lunch, 2 Dinners)
