Upper Mississippi River Cruise Tour

MOTORCOACH TOUR Featuring the Twilight Riverboat, French Lick Resort and American Pickers

Join us on the motorcoach as we make our way to the Midwest for a classic Riverboat Experience as we explore the Upper Mississippi River in style and comfort aboard the TWILIGHT RIVERBOAT. Coveted as the “the most elegant riverboat to be launched in the last 100 years,” the TWILIGHT was carefully designed and built to replicate the lavish steamboats popular in the Victorian era. Mile after glorious mile, you’ll enjoy the best of the Mississippi from the towering bluffs, two Locks & Dams, quaint river towns, and fascinating historical narration during a 2-Day Cruise from LeClaire to Dubuque, Iowa. Witness first-hand the importance of the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife and Fish Refuge – a haven for migratory birds. The Bald Eagle is one of the greatest success stories in the recovery of an endangered species. While a few hundred eagles used to winter along the Upper Mississippi River, there are now thousands! An increasing number of those Eagles are now staying year-round to nest, providing incredible opportunities to see them throughout the cruise. Live entertainment and meals are included onboard the Riverboat both days of the cruise, and you will overnight at a beautiful river-front hotel in Dubuque before cruising back to LeClaire on Day 2. Other tour highlights include the Smithsonian accredited National Mississippi River Museum in Dubuque. Spend the night before the cruise and the night after the cruise in LeClaire along Iowa’s Great River Road in the Quad Cities. Here you will have a chance to “COME PICK WITH THE BEST OF ‘EM” at Antique Archaeology – featured on the History Channel’s American Pickers show. The show’s host, Mike Wolfe is a local in LeClaire. Visit the Buffalo Bill Museum to learn about LeClaire’s native son-Bill Cody. Explore the John Deere Pavilion that showcases the newest and vintage John Deere equipment. Experience history like never before at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library in Springfield. Step inside key moments in Lincoln’s life, from triumph to tragedy. You will love an overnight stay at French Lick Resort in southern Indiana. This AAA Four-Diamond nationally historic hotel was built in 1845 to capitalize on the “miracle” powers of the sulfur springs present in the area.  Today the resort offers modern amenities and a 51,000 sq ft Casino.
