This tour includes the best of New England from the rocky coast of Maine to the rolling hills of Vermont! Spend 2 nights in northern Vermont among the Green Mountains where you will visit the quaint village of Stowe – a quintessential Vermont fall foliage scene. A tour highlight is lunch at the Von Trapp Family Lodge – the Austrian-style lodge is nestled among the Green Mountains of Vermont and is still owned and operated by the family featured in the Sound of Music. Visit a local Cider Mill and watch fresh apples milled into cider, and visit a Vermont Maple Sugar House to learn about the fascinating process of harvesting Vermont maple syrup. Dance the night away on a Lake Champlain Harvest Moon Dinner Cruise and sail along one of the largest lakes in the US. Visit the Shelburne Museum, explore fascinating and whimsical objects set among beautiful Vermont acreage. Enjoy the view through the tall windows of the motorcoach on a drive along scenic Kancamagus Highway, a National Scenic Byway that winds through New Hampshire and the spectacular White Mountains National Forest – known as one of the top Fall Foliage drives in the USA! Today, more than a dozen prestigious properties have been preserved, tour inside one of those magnificent, opulent Newport Rhode Island Mansions. Enjoy some leaf peeping in the Berkshire Mountains with a stop at the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, MA – the artists’ hometown and inspiration for the backdrop of many of his famous paintings. Chesapeake Bay & Virginia International Military “Tattoo” Performances
Annapolis, Maryland is located at the confluence of the Severn River and Chesapeake Bay and is known as one of America’s prettiest and most walkable towns. Explore local shops and restaurants from historic Main Street to the Wharf. The United States Naval Academy was established in Annapolis in 1845. Enjoy an afternoon narrated cruise and sail by the beautiful waterfront campus. Assateague Island is a 37-mile long barrier island located off the eastern coast of the Delmarva Peninsula facing the Atlantic Ocean. We will make a stop along our journey to visit Assateague Island to learn about this protected area that is vital for resting and feeding migratory shorebirds and serves as home to about 300 wild ponies that wander the beaches, inland pine forest, and salt marshes of the Island. We will take a cruise with local Guides to remote areas of Assateague Island as we go in search of the Wild Assateague Ponies! A tour highlight is the ceremonial performances of military music by massed bands at the 2025 Virginia International Tattoo! We make our way to Scope Arena in Norfolk, VA to enjoy this amazing patriotic show. The incredible international cast features more than 800 performers – with bands and drill teams from the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps joined by civilian and military performers from 7 nations. Favorites include Switzerland’s Top Secret Drum Corps and the Netherlands Royal Marine Band. Kentucky Bluegrass & Ark Encounter Tour
Learn about the highlights of Kentucky on this Get-away! Experience the fascinating world of thoroughbred horses and Lexington Blue Grass Country on this fun and informative tour to Kentucky. Enjoy a visit to Keenland Horse Park and watch the morning workouts of the thoroughbreds with their jockey. Learn how injured horses are cared for and rehabilitated at the Kentucky Equine Sports Medicine and Rehab Center; and take a tour through one of the most interesting and accessible Kentucky Bluegrass Horse Farms for a behind the scenes look of the world of championship horse racing. Another Kentucky showpiece is The Ark Encounter, featuring a full-size Noah’s Ark, built according to the dimensions given in the Bible. This marvel of engineering is seven stories tall and is a football field and a half long – the largest timber-frame structure in the world. Go inside the structure full of world-class exhibits that tell the story of Noah’s Ark. From the moment the towering Ark comes into view you’ll experience the magnitude of Noah’s undertaking. Visit the 75,000-square-foot Creation Museum where the pages of the Bible dramatically come to life. Journey through biblical history in the Garden of Eden alongside Adam and Eve. Winter Exploration at Grand Teton & Yellowstone National Parks
Explore the winter wonderland of the Greater Yellowstone Region with Daniel’s Guides Jerry and Vicki McFalls. Our group will fly from Atlanta to Jackson, WY where you will spend 5 Nights/6 Days at a beautiful Creekside Cabin located on a Nature Preserve near the town of Jackson Hole. Watch the mule deer forage on the snow-covered ground right out your cabin window! Explore Yellowstone over snow packed roads in a comfortable & heated Snowcoach. Cross the Continental Divide, view wildlife such as bison and coyotes, and walk along active geothermal features inside Yellowstone National Park, the most famous of which is Old Faithful. Take a horse-drawn sleigh ride into the National Elk Refuge and get within 20-30 feet of wild elk – there are thousands of them! Drive along Grand Teton National Park with views of the majestic snow-capped Teton Range on a Wildlife Safari Tour with a local Nature Guide and seek out Moose, Eagles and Dall sheep. Enjoy free time at Jackson town square, home to great restaurants, unique shops and those famous elk-antler arches. Explore on your own and relax or let us set up some optional excursions for you such as snowmobile tours, snowshoeing, dogsledding, a spa day, a visit to the National Museum of Wildlife Art, or you can choose to visit one of the oldest ranches on the rugged Wyoming landscape where you can enjoy an evening sleigh ride and a T-Bone steak dinner (additional fees apply for optional excursions.)
