We have so much fun on our Mystery Tours! If you like surprises and have an adventurous spirit, this tour is for you! Think of it as 5 days full of Mystery and tons of fun! A new “reveal” awaits every day, and we promise that each day will be filled with unique and interesting adventures. Don’t worry, we will tell you what to pack, but we like to keep you guessing, then we like to “WOW” you with all kinds of exciting things! Outer Banks
This tour is a Daniel’s favorite! Enjoy a 3-night stay at an oceanfront hotel in Kittyhawk, NC and explore the barrier islands known as the Outer Banks (OBX). See historic lighthouses including Currituck Beach Light Station and Bodie Island Lighthouse. One of the most unique experiences on the Outer Banks is a ride on a 4×4 Hummer to see the Wild Spanish Mustangs as they roam free along the beach near Corolla – the natural habitat they have occupied for centuries. Explore along the pristine Cape Hatteras National Seashore ending at Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, the tallest in the U.S. Visit Kitty Hawk and the Wright Monument at Kill Devil Hills. During your visit you can walk to the First Flight Boulder and Flight Line which mark the location where the Wright Brothers first flew. It is amazing to stand at that very spot! Visit the Elizabethan Gardens and learn about The Lost Colony – one of America’s oldest unsolved mysteries – what happened to the early settlers that vanished nearly 450 years ago? Visit Roanoke Island Festival Park where you will see costumed interpreters throughout the replica of England’s first settlement in the New World. Climb aboard the Elizabeth II, a 69-foot sailing vessel representative of those which sailed to the New World in 1585. There is so much history and so much beauty on the Outer Banks, and some of the best fresh seafood you will find! We know the best places to eat, and we will tell you all about the rich history as we explore the Outer Banks. The first and last nights are spent in Rocky Mount, NC and 3 nights are spent on the Outer Banks in a lovely oceanfront hotel. Key West & the Florida Keys
Join Daniel’s as we explore the string of beautiful tropical islands stretching 120 miles off the southern tip of Florida…THE KEYS! Cruise from Ft. Myers Beach to Key West on the high-speed ferry – the Key West Express. The ferry is the fast and fun way to arrive at the southernmost point in the USA. You will LOVE your 2-night stay at the 4-Star waterfront luxury hotel in Key West, The Marker – one of the newly built hotels in Old Town. Centrally located by the historic seaport, you can relax at the hotel or immerse yourself in the Key West vibe just steps away along Duval Street. Use your included Hop On/Hop Off Trolley Pass during your full free day of exploring on your own. It is easy to visit optional Key West places that interest you the most during your free time, such as the Ernest Hemingway Home & Museum where Hemmingway wrote several of his famous novels and where you can see the six-toed polydactyl cats, descendants of Hemingway’s original pet “Snowball”. Take a photo at the Southernmost Point monument, tour President Harry S. Truman’s Winter White House, or maybe visit Smather’s Beach. Our coach catches up with us in Key West to drive us north along the famed Overseas Highway – one of the most scenic drives in the U.S. with fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the Gulf of Mexico on the other. Enjoy some time in the beautiful beach village of Islamorada with a visit to the Key’s History & Discovery Center and the Theater of the Seas with their dolphin and sea lion shows! Enjoy the laid-back vibe of Key Largo, visit an Alligator Farm, and take an exciting Airboat Ride in the Everglades! Visit Cape Kennedy Space Center where you can explore NASA’S Space Shuttle Program, learn about the space pioneers, and discover current and upcoming space exploration. Visit Homosassa Springs – home to the Manatees and other fascinating wildlife, stroll along the Sponge Docks at Tarpon Springs, and visit the oldest city in America, St. Augustine, including a trolley ride through the historic district. New Year’s Party in the Low Country
Beaufort, SC is a lovely little harbor town, founded in 1711, that boasts exquisitely preserved antebellum architecture and a downtown designated in its entirety as a historic district. Join Daniel’s as we Ring in the New Year in South Carolina’s Low Country with a two-night stay in the heart of the Beaufort historic district. Our private early New Year’s Eve Party is a festive event with elegant dinner and dancing culminating on the rooftop with a Ball Drop, Champagne Toast and spectacular Fireworks Display over the Beaufort River at 9pm. This charming waterfront town transforms into an iconic holiday postcard scene that will leave you enchanted. Visit the locally owned shops and scenic waterfront. Enjoy a special Welcome Dinner and experience a traditional Low County Boil with local seafood and Carolina BBQ! Opryland Christmas
Experience Gaylord Opryland Resort’s Annual “Country Christmas”. More than 3 million holiday lights adorn the resort, along with larger-than-life decorations, poinsettias, garland and ribbon make this one of the biggest Christmas celebrations in the South! A tour highlight includes the hottest show in town – Vince Gill and Amy Grant at their annual Christmas Concert at The Ryman. Another special show in the lineup includes Christian Duo – For King + Country. Stay tuned for the announcement of another headliner at Opryland! This annual trip is so much fun and is sure to bring the Christmas spirit.

Colonial Williamsburg Christmas
Join us as we visit Williamsburg, VA where you’ll find enduring traditions, charming period Christmas decorations, and a season that warms the heart. Williamsburg was capital of the Virginia Colony from 1699 to 1780 and played a significant role in the American Revolution. Today, it serves as a living history museum where costumed interpreters portray daily life in the Colony and share their Colonial Christmas Traditions. Visit the authentic trade shops, have an included dinner in an authentic tavern, and visit Merchant Square, an 18th-century style retail village with over 40 unique shops and restaurants. Travel back in time at Jamestown Settlement where you can explore America’s beginnings with interactive exhibits, gallery exhibits, films, and an outdoor living-history area where you can climb aboard a re-creation of one of the three ships that sailed from England to Virginia in 1607. Historic St. Augustine has plenty of history to explore, over 450 years to be exact! Over 3 million white lights are strung over historic buildings, shops and live oaks throughout the historic district. Rachael Ray Magazine named St. Augustine’s Nights of Lights as one of the nation’s “twinkliest,” and National Geographic Magazine listed it as one of the Top 10 Cities in the World for Holiday Lighting Displays.
