Fall

**DAY TRIP** The Odd Couple

Join us for a day full of good-times and laughter as we travel to Western North Carolina to the State Theater of North Carolina, the Flat Rock Playhouse, to see The Odd Couple.  Ashtrays overflow, tempers flare, and laughter fills the living room in Neil Simon’s effervescent comedy of friendship, forgiveness, and the fine art of driving each other crazy. The Odd Couple is a classic cocktail of chaos and charm. Proof that opposites attract… so long as they don’t share a kitchen.  Meet Felix: impeccably pressed, emotionally distressed, and suddenly single. Meet Oscar: charmingly rumpled, habitually late, and blissfully allergic to coasters. When Felix moves in with his old pal Oscar after a marital meltdown, neatness meets nonsense, and the sparks fly.  Pour a drink and duck for cover — domestic bliss is about to get messy! During the 1940’s and 1950’s the beautiful Western North Carolina region grew, and so did the popularity of the Flat Rock Playhouse.  In 1961, by Act of the North Carolina General Assembly, the Flat Rock Playhouse was officially designated as The State Theatre of North Carolina. The Theater is a quaint and intimate setting for any show and all of the seats are great.  We will spend some time at A Day in the Country, a delightful shop and cafe that is a favorite among tourists and locals.  We will enjoy an included lunch and have some free time for shopping at this fun & eclectic shop.

The price of the Day Trip, $195 per person, includes roundtrip motorcoach transportation from the Daniel’s Depot in Lula, GA, lunch, and ticket to the show. Day Trips are non-refundable.
