Join us on the motorcoach as we make our way to the Midwest for a classic Mississippi River Experience! Visit Gateway Arch National Park in St. Louis where the tram will take you 630 feet up to the top of the Arch. Enjoy the view of the Mighty Mississippi River from the tallest monument in the USA. Spend some time in Hannibal, Missouri along the banks of the River and see the Boyhood Home of beloved author Samuel Clemens, aka Mark Twain. See Becky Thatcher’s House, Huckleberry Finn’s House, and learn about the adventures of Tom Sawyer on the Mark Twain Riverboat Dinner Cruise. Come aboard the TWILIGHT RIVERBOAT in LeClaire, Iowa. Coveted as the “the most elegant riverboat to be launched in the last 100 years,” the TWILIGHT was carefully designed and built to replicate the lavish steamboats popular in the Victorian era. Mile after glorious mile, you’ll enjoy the best of the Mississippi from the towering bluffs, two Locks & Dams, quaint river towns, and fascinating historical narration during a 2-Day Cruise from LeClaire to Dubuque, Iowa. Witness first-hand the importance of the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife and Fish Refuge – a haven for migratory birds. The Bald Eagle is one of the greatest success stories in the recovery of an endangered species, so watch for these majestic birds along the way! Live entertainment and meals are included onboard the Riverboat both days of the cruise, and you will overnight at a beautiful river-front hotel in Dubuque before cruising back to LeClaire on Day 2. Other tour highlights include the Smithsonian accredited National Mississippi River Museum in Dubuque. Spend the night before the cruise and the night after the cruise in LeClaire along Iowa’s Great River Road in the Quad Cities. Here you will have a chance to “COME PICK WITH THE BEST OF ‘EM” at Antique Archaeology – featured on the History Channel’s American Pickers show. The show’s host, Mike Wolfe is a local in LeClaire. Visit the John Deere Pavilion that showcases the newest and vintage John Deere equipment. Experience history like never before at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library in Springfield. Step inside key moments in Lincoln’s life, from triumph to tragedy. Join Daniel’s as we go Riverboating in 2025! Includes 14 Meals (7 Breakfasts/3 Lunches/4 Dinners)

Mackinac Island
Mackinac Island has been named the Best Summer Travel Destination by USA TODAY. No wonder this is a TOP DANIEL’S TOUR! Mackinac Island sits in Lake Huron, between Michigan’s Upper and Lower peninsulas. Motorized vehicles are not allowed on the island, so we park our Motorcoach on the mainland and travel by ferry to the island. Horse and carriage then become our mode of transportation during our 2-night stay at the beautiful historic lakefront hotel, The Island House, built in the mid-19th century. The island is also known for its abundance of lilac trees. See and smell the lilacs in bloom during the 77th Annual Lilac Festival! Enjoy a horse drawn carriage tour of the island, stroll the quaint downtown famous for its fine fudge, and visit the famous Grand Hotel where the movie “Somewhere in Time” was filmed. Explore this magnificent hotel including the Grand Buffet Lunch, a meal you will never forget! Enjoy a slower pace on the island as you sit on the massive front porch at the Island House, watch the horse and carriages go by and see the sun set on Lake Huron. Ride a bike around the island or take a short stroll into town to visit one of the many shops and restaurants. So much more is also included in this tour as we circle Michigan! Visit Sault St. Marie and sail through the Soo Locks to Lake Superior; see the Mushroom Houses in charming Charlevoix, located on the shore of Lake Michigan, take an exciting dune buggy ride on the Lake Michigan Sand Dunes – you will not believe how massive these dunes are!
