Alaska’s Northern Lights – Discover the Aurora Borealis **WAITLIST**

FLYOUT TOUR Featuring The Aurora Winter Train, Chena Hot Springs, Fairbanks & Talkeetna

It is predicted that fall through early spring of 2025 will bring the Best Northern Lights in 20 Years, and Daniel’s is heading to Alaska to chase the Aurora Borealis!  Alaska is one of the best places on earth to see the Northern Lights.  When the conditions are right, colorful bands of light in shades of green, yellow, white and purple dance in the dark night sky and this natural phenomenon is an unforgettable experience. Join Daniel’s as we start our Aurora journey in Fairbanks, located directly under the Auroral Oval where the strongest occurrence of the Northern Lights can be found. We will explore the highlights of the city to include the incredible hand-carved ice sculptures that are the talk of the town.  Then we make our way to the remote areas away from town where the darkest nights provide the best opportunity for Aurora views.  Spend 2 nights at Chena Hot Springs where you can enjoy optional winter activities such as visiting a working husky kennel, dog sledding, snowmobiling and ice fishing. Visit the Aurora Ice Museum – created from over 1,000 tons of ice and snow.    Take a soak in the Hot Springs as you watch the Aurora dance overhead or hang out indoors at the viewing center with other Aurora chasers each night to share the excitement of waiting for the Northern Lights to appear!   All Aboard the Adventure Class Aurora Winter Train from Fairbanks to Talkeetna for a once in a lifetime experience crossing the quiet serenity of pristine snow along the train tracks.  Enjoy the winter wonderland of Alaska’s backcountry from the comfort of a warm railcar, complete with comfortable seats and large picture windows.  On a clear day, a spectacular view of Denali rises into view above the Susitna River. And anywhere along the tracks, a watchful eye may be rewarded with the sight of a moose in the wild.  Arrive by train into Talkeetna for a 2-night stay at the beautiful Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge with views of North America’s tallest mountain – Denali.  Warm up by the giant river rock fireplace or visit the charming downtown Talkeetna area, and if the Aurora makes an appearance you will get a wake-up call so you don’t miss it!  If you want more adventure, just ask us about optional tours to the Arctic Circle or a flight above the Alaska Range for some spectacular winter views of the frozen rivers and landscapes below.  PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BE COMFORTABLE WALKING IN THE SNOW/ICE AND BE PREPARED FOR COLD TEMPERATURES.
