Explore Old Town Quebec. Lower Town features the Quartier Petit Champlain, a 1688 stone church, Place Royale square and charming boutiques on Rue du Petit Champlain. Upper Town features the grand castle-like famous Château Frontenac Hotel prominent along the bluffs of the St. Lawrence River. A tour highlight includes a 3- night stay on a quaint French speaking island along the scenic St. Lawrence River…Isle aux Coudres. Time stands still on this island. Learn about the local culture as we are entertained with the heritage dances and music each evening. We take a whale watching excursion at the whale rich waters of the Saguenay/St. Lawrence Marine Conservation area. The spectacular drive to the whale watching area provides unmatched scenery. Sail along the St. Lawrence River between the US & Canada on an afternoon cruise among the beautiful 1000 Islands. On our guided tour of Montreal, we will visit the beautiful and historic Notre-Dame Basilica-inaugurated in 1829, and near Quebec City we visit the magnificent Basilica of St. Anne de Beaupre-long known as the place of miracles.
