Travel along the largest protected wilderness in the US through the south entrance of Yellowstone into Grand Teton National Park into Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Explore the town square bordered by four elk-antler arches and wooden boardwalks. Visit Rocky Mountain National Park in northern Colorado. Spanning the Continental Divide, the park encompasses protected mountains, forests and alpine tundra. Spend some free time in beautiful Estes Park where Main Street is lined with great shops & restaurants among the trees, mountain flowers and sidewalk benches. Spend 2 nights in Rapid City, South Dakota. See the colorful cliffs and canyons at Badlands National Park, explore from the prairies to the mountains at Custer State Park and learn all about their famous bison herd. Mt. Rushmore is a tour highlight! See the amazing carving of Washington, Jefferson, Roosevelt and Lincoln on the side of the mountain. Visit the Crazy Horse Memorial – the towering mountainside sculpture of the famous Indian Chief. Other South Dakota highlights include its 50-foot stainless steel statue “Dignity”, along with Wall Drug and the Corn Palace.
