Myers Beach to Key West on the high-speed ferry – the Key West Express. The ferry is the fast and fun way to arrive at the southernmost point in the USA. You will LOVE your 2-night stay at the 4-Star waterfront luxury hotel in Key West, The Marker – one of the newly built hotels in Old Town. Centrally located by the historic seaport, you can relax at the hotel or immerse yourself in the Key West vibe just steps away along Duval Street. It is easy to visit optional Key West places that interest you the most during your free time, such as the Ernest Hemingway Home & Museum where Hemmingway wrote several of his famous novels and where you can see the six-toed polydactyl cats, descendants of Hemingway’s original pet “Snowball”. Take a photo at the Southernmost Point monument, tour President Harry S. Truman’s Winter White House, or maybe visit Smather’s Beach. Our coach catches up with us in Key West to drive us north along the famed Overseas Highway – one of the most scenic drives in the U.S. with fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the Gulf of Mexico on the other. Enjoy some time in the beautiful beach village of Islamorada with a visit to the Key’s History & Discovery Center and the Theater of the Seas with their dolphin and sea lion shows! Enjoy the laid-back vibe of Key Largo, visit an Alligator Farm, and take an exciting Airboat Ride in the Everglades! Visit Cape Kennedy Space Center where you can explore NASA’S Space Shuttle Program, learn about the space pioneers, and discover current and upcoming space exploration. Enjoy a tour of the Accademia Gallery which houses the famous David Statue, plus a visit to the grandiose Florence Cathedral. Relish in the beauty of Tuscany with a full day excursion through the Italian countryside, including a visit to one of Tuscany’s most stunning hilltop towns, San Gimignano, a lunch and tasting at a local winery, and tour of a farmhouse to taste authentic olive oil, bruschetta, and mixed meats is a highlight of the day! We travel from Siena to Venice with a stop in Bologna for a guided tour and lunch at a local ristorante in the city known for being the food capital of Italy. Upon arrival in Venice, enjoy a boat ride into the canal city before settling into your beautiful hotel for 3 nights. Enjoy a guided tour of Venice – the famous lagoon city that has captivated millions across the world – visiting the greatest highlights including the Doge’s Palace, St. Mark’s Basilica, ending with a private iconic gondola ride. Hawaii is one of the world’s foremost vacation destinations. Our adventure begins together as we depart from Daniel’s for the Atlanta Airport for our flight to Honolulu. The big, blue Pacific and stunning Koolau mountains serve as a dramatic backdrop as we transfer to our hotel for a 2-night stay at Waikiki Beach. See Diamond Head and take a sunset stroll on Waikiki Beach. Catch a glimpse of history on our visit to Pearl Harbor, scene of the devastating aerial attack by Japan that drove the U.S. into WWII. See the Arizona Memorial that sits above the sunken ship that is the final resting place of 1,177 crewmen. Visit the Polynesian Cultural Center as it brings to life the spirit of Polynesia through its six Polynesian villages including a Luau! After our 2-night stay on the island of Oahu, we will embark on a 7-night cruise with Norwegian Cruise Line on the Pride of America Cruise Ship and set sail to visit the Hawaiian Islands! As you approach Nawiliwili Bay, Kauai, you’ll get your first of many looks at the island’s brilliant colors and blossoming hillsides, all rising mystically from emerald waters. You’ll know at once why Kauai is called the Garden Isle. The entire city of Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii is like one giant greenhouse with spectacular tropical flowers at every turn! Visit the town’s well-preserved historic buildings, which date back to the turn of the century and showcase Hawaii’s unique architecture. Just 30 miles away the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is the home of the active Kilauea Volcano, optional excursions are available to learn more about the volcano. A surplus of natural splendor and the genuine hospitality of its people have helped to make Maui a popular island for shore excursions for Hana Highway, Haleakala Crater, tropical plantations and more! Winter Exploration at Grand Teton & Yellowstone National Parks
Explore the winter wonderland of the Greater Yellowstone Region with Daniel’s Guides Jerry and Vicki McFalls. Our group will fly from Atlanta to Jackson, WY where you will spend 5 Nights/6 Days at a beautiful Creekside Cabin located on a Nature Preserve near the town of Jackson Hole. Watch the mule deer forage on the snow-covered ground right out your cabin window! Explore Yellowstone over snow packed roads in a comfortable & heated Snowcoach. Cross the Continental Divide, view wildlife such as bison and coyotes, and walk along active geothermal features inside Yellowstone National Park, the most famous of which is Old Faithful. Take a horse-drawn sleigh ride into the National Elk Refuge and get within 20-30 feet of wild elk – there are hundreds of them! Drive along Grand Teton National Park with views of the majestic snow-capped Teton Range on a Wildlife Safari Tour with a local Nature Guide and seek out Moose, Eagles and Dall sheep. Enjoy free time at Jackson town square, home to great restaurants, unique shops and those famous elk-antler arches. Explore on your own and relax or let us set up some optional excursions for you such as snowmobile tours, snowshoeing, dogsledding, a spa day, a visit to the National Museum of Wildlife Art, or you can choose to visit one of the oldest ranches on the rugged Wyoming landscape where you can enjoy an evening sleigh ride and a T-Bone steak dinner (additional fees apply for optional excursions.)
